ROSL Membership

As a globally-focused organisation, the Royal Over-Seas League offers four distinct categories of membership aimed at those living and working in London to further afield and overseas.

Membership FAQs

London

Individuals that live within a 50-mile radius of London, measured as the crow flies from Charing Cross. Enjoy all the benefits ROSL has to offer, from the dining, clubhouse facilities to the arts and events programme.

Subscription Fee £640

Individual One-Off Joining Fee + £640

Country UK

For UK residents that live beyond the 50-mile radius of London. Country members enjoy all the same benefits as London members.

Subscription Fee £430

Individual One-Off Joining Fee + £430

Resident Overseas

Individuals residing outside of the UK can apply to join as an Overseas member, with all the benefits of membership when visiting or staying at the Club.

Subscription Fee £310

Individual One-Off Joining Fee+ £310

Younger Members (Aged 17-25)

Individuals aged between 17 – 25 benefit from a reduced subscription rate and the usual joining fee is waived.

General Information

Proposers & Seconders
To join as an individual member of the Club, ideally you will be proposed and then seconded by an existing member of the Club.
Proposers and seconders are required to have been a member for a minimum of 12 months.
If you do not know any current members, please contact the membership team for further information.

Membership Fees
Membership runs for a 12-month period from the 1st of January.
Your membership will be pro-rated from the date that you join for the remainder of the year.
A joining fee is payable if your membership lapses for 3 months or more.
