Cancellation/Refund Policy
All amendments and/or cancellations for ROSL products and services must be confirmed in writing, by email. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Please quote your membership number and the reason for requesting a refund. Cancellation and refunds requests will be actioned within 10 working days.

Accommodation bookings for ROSL Members:
For members staying less than 7 nights – notification of cancellations must be received by 12 noon GMT, 48 hours prior to date of arrival. Members will otherwise be liable for the full charge of one night if the room is not re-let. Rooms re-sold are exempt from fee.

For members staying 7 nights or more – notification of cancellations must be received by 12 noon GMT, 72 hours prior to date of arrival. Members will otherwise be liable for the full charge of three nights if the room is not re-let. Rooms re-sold are exempt from fee.

Members wishing to depart earlier than their booked departure date must provide notification in line with the above cancellation terms.

Advance purchase bookings are only available where the arrival date is 5 days ahead of the booking date. Advance purchase bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Accommodation bookings for Reciprocal Members:
For Reciprocal members staying less than 7 nights – notification of cancellations must be received by 12 noon GMT, 7 days prior to date of arrival. Reciprocal members will otherwise be liable for the full charge of two nights if the room is not re-let. Rooms re-sold are exempt from fee.

For Reciprocal members staying 7 nights or more – notification of cancellations must be received by 12 noon GMT, 14 days prior to date of arrival. Reciprocal members will otherwise be liable for the full charge of three nights if the room is not re-let. Rooms re-sold are exempt from fee.

Reciprocal members wishing to depart earlier than their booked departure date must provide notification in line with the above cancellation terms.

Reciprocal members will be asked to pre-pay their accommodation costs on arrival at the Club.

ROSL Memberships:
Cancellation is allowable within 14 days of renewal payment date and a 100% refund will be provided.

ROSL Events:
7 days’ notice is needed for a full refund to be given.

ROSL Merchandise:
Customers have a right to return ROSL merchandise within 7 days of purchase and receive a full refund. All goods within the order must have been returned to ROSL in good condition before the refund will be processed. All refunds will be credited to the payment card used to make the order. This does not affect statutory rights.

Refused cards
Cards are not refused by the Royal Over-Seas League but by your bank or card issuer. There could be many reasons why this may happen, and we suggest you contact your card issuer in the first instance if you have a problem with your payment being declined.

Receipts
When using Stripe, you will receive a confirmation of your payment on your screen after you make the payment. This will display on your unique transaction number. You will also receive an email confirming the payment has been successful.
