Introducing Our New Executive Chef Julien Maisonneuve

Summer is a time of abundance and at ROSL, we are thrilled to welcome Executive Chef Julien Maisonneuve to our team. With a wealth of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens and a deep commitment to sustainability, Julien is excited to share his passion for exceptional food with our members.

A Journey Through Michelin-Star Kitchens

Hailing from Valence, France, Chef Julien’s culinary journey has seen him work with some of the world’s most prestigious Michelin-starred chefs, including Les Cedres (2 Michelin stars), Pic (3 Michelin stars), Michel Chabran (2 Michelin stars), Pierre Gagnaire (3 Michelin stars), and Regis Marcon (3 Michelin stars). His experience in these renowned kitchens has shaped his meticulous approach to food, emphasising both creativity and precision.

From France to the UK: Expanding Culinary Horizons

After his training in France, Chef Julien moved to the UK, where he took on key roles as Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef at highly regarded restaurants, including The Admirable Crichton and Tom Aikens’ Michelin Star restaurant. Julien’s career also includes an executive role overseeing operations at Istanbul Doors and The Grain Store, before most recently serving as Executive Chef at Renaissance St Pancras, where he led the culinary teams at four successful restaurants and event spaces.

A Passion for Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing

Chef Julien is deeply committed to the sustainability and provenance of the ingredients he works with. He enjoys building strong relationships with farmers and producers, ensuring that only the finest seasonal ingredients make it onto our plates. This philosophy is central to Julien’s approach and he brings the same commitment to ethical sourcing to ROSL.

Meat Sourced from Aubrey Allen Butchers

As part of his commitment to quality and sustainability, Chef Julien ensures that all the meat served at the clubhouse is sourced from Aubrey Allen, Britain’s award-winning butcher. Renowned for their strict selection process, Aubrey Allen guarantees that only the finest, ethically reared meat reaches our kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards.

What Chef Julien Brings to ROSL

He is excited to collaborate with our team to continue developing menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and highlight his signature approach to sustainable cooking. Julian has already made a significant impact, notably with his Club Classics and Duke of York bar menus, both well received by members. His commitment to excellence and creativity promises to enhance your dining experience at ROSL.
