About This Event

A Chinese New Year Celebration with Daren Liew
Chef Patron of Nanyang Blossom, selected for the MICHELIN Guide 2025 and awarded 2 AA Rosettes

9 February – 3 March 2026
Monday to Saturday: 12pm – 2.30pm, 5pm – 9.30pm (last food orders)
in the 1910 Dining Room

The award-winning Cantonese and Asian culinary maestro, Chef Daren Liew, returns to ROSL for the third year to celebrate the Year of the Horse with a bespoke, handcrafted set menu. The menu highlights Chef Liew’s mastery and creativity, drawing from his extensive experience as Chef Patron of Nanyang Blossom Knightsbridge and Founder and Culinary Director of DL Cuisine Concepts. With a legacy of over 25 years, honed in Michelin-starred kitchens such as Hakkasan, Chef Liew now brings his culinary vision from the distinguished Blue Jasmine Food. Since opening Nanyang Blossom in Knightsbridge near Harrods in May 2024, his new Southeast Asian restaurant with Singaporean and Malaysian flavours has been selected for the MICHELIN Guide 2025 and awarded 2 AA Rosettes.

Drawing inspiration from his rich heritage and Southeast Asian influences, Daren artfully combines local Hampshire ingredients, marrying tradition with innovation. His culinary narrative, rooted in his father’s family restaurant in Malaysia, is evident in his imaginative and impeccably crafted dishes and signature sauces, a testament to his stature as a Chef ambassador for Lee Kum Kee, a renowned Asian hospitality company. Pioneering the DL Cuisine Concept in 2019, Daren has consistently pushed the boundaries of culinary excellence in the hospitality industry. His remarkable achievements, including accolades from prestigious culinary associations and winning the esteemed ‘Special Gold Award’ at the 2013 World Chinese Chef Competition, demonstrate his commitment to culinary innovation. Chef Liew’s culinary journey also includes steering the successful launch of Duddell’s London, the overseas branch of the Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant.
